Existing Charger Onboarding
OnChargeEV was built specifically to eliminate long-term fixed software fees. Unlike traditional platforms that charge monthly or annual subscriptions per charger, OnChargeEV operates on a pay-as-you-go model — meaning fees are only applied when a charging session actually occurs.
No. OnChargeEV does not charge monthly or annual software fees. If no one is charging, there is no cost for the software.
OnChargeEV applies a small platform fee only when a charging session takes place. If a charger is idle or unused, there is no software charge. This aligns operating costs directly with real usage.
Nothing changes. Chargers remain fully active and available, and you are not charged for software during periods of low or no usage. This ensures chargers stay online long-term without creating unnecessary financial pressure.
OnChargeEV supports secure, driver-friendly payment flows, including QR-based access. Payments are processed per session, and revenue is automatically allocated based on the site’s configured pricing and payout structure.
Yes. Property owners or operators can set pricing based on their goals — whether that’s cost recovery, profit generation, or a balance of both. EV charging often functions similarly to shared amenities like laundry facilities, where usage fees generate ongoing revenue.
Yes. The platform supports flexible revenue allocation models, making it easy to distribute charging revenue between property owners, operators, partners, or other stakeholders.
Unlike subscription-based platforms, OnChargeEV does not rely on fixed recurring fees. When rebate compliance periods (typically 3–5 years) end, chargers can remain online and operational without the risk of becoming stranded due to software costs.
No. Chargers remain connected to the platform regardless of usage. There are no penalties or fees for periods of inactivity.
Yes. OnChargeEV was intentionally designed to support small and mid-sized EV charging companies that want a long-term, sustainable software solution without being locked into high recurring costs.
Absolutely. As EV adoption grows and charger utilization increases, the platform naturally scales with usage. Costs rise only as revenue rises, keeping the model balanced over time.
OnChargeEV supports industry-standard protocols and is designed to work with a wide range of commercial EV chargers, including both new and existing installations.
OnChargeEV was created by a team with decades of experience in commercial infrastructure and rebate-driven deployments. After seeing chargers go offline due to unsustainable software fees once rebate periods ended, we built a platform focused on long-term usability, cost alignment, and financial sustainability.
